Bio
Our BRC Director Professor Newsome is the Director of Research and Knowledge Transfer for the University of Birmingham’s College of Medical and Dental Sciences. He is also Director of the Innovate UK-funded Midlands and Wales Advanced Therapy Treatment Centre.
He has published over 260 major research papers in scientific journals as well as reviews and book chapters in the fields of stromal cell biology and liver disease.
