Pernille Woods

Working as part of the Senior Management Team, Pernille liaises with key stakeholders across the research themes and partner organisations to ensure governance of the BRC programme and delivery of key strategies and objectives, and acts as the Communications Lead for the Birmingham BRC.

She has been part of the NIHR Birmingham Biomedical Research Centre since 2020, joining the core team as Programme Officer before moving into her current role as Deputy Head shortly after the BRC renewal. Pernille has worked within health-related research since 2013, gaining experience in various Research Assistant and Project Co-ordinator roles in both NHS and academic settings across the Midlands.
