Dr Peter Rimmer

Dr Rimmer’s research interests lie in the gut microbiome and host response in patients with Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). He is also interested in galectins and how these interact with the microbiome. He set up the IBD inception clinic at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust while studying for his PhD.
